Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Sertta collects, how it is used, and the limits that apply to data related to the website, user accounts, subscriptions, and EmuloAgent.
Overview
Sertta develops software products, including EmuloAgent, a tool for automating repetitive actions in Android emulators based on visual conditions such as text, image, and color.
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information related to website access, account creation, subscriptions, support, and product usage. We aim to collect only the data needed to operate the service, maintain account security, process subscriptions, and improve the user experience.
Sertta does not sell personal data and does not use user data for third-party behavioral advertising.
Data we may collect
We may collect information provided directly by the user, such as:
- name;
- email address;
- account information;
- preferred language;
- approximate country or region;
- support messages;
- information required to activate, manage, or cancel a subscription.
We may also collect basic technical data related to website access and service usage, such as device type, browser, operating system, approximate IP address, pages accessed, access date and time, and events required for service operation, security, and diagnostics.
Payment data
To start the trial period and maintain an active subscription, users may need to provide payment information, including a credit card.
Sertta does not store full credit card data in its systems. Payment processing is handled by a payment platform responsible for receiving, processing, and protecting that information according to its own security standards and legal obligations.
Sertta may receive limited subscription-related information, such as payment status, selected plan, start date, renewal date, cancellation, failed payment, or the last digits of the card when made available by the payment platform. This information is used only to manage the subscription and product access.
User passwords and credentials
Sertta does not request, know, or store passwords for personal accounts, game accounts, application accounts, third-party services, or any credential used by the user outside the Sertta account itself.
EmuloAgent may offer a feature to type passwords on virtual keyboards during automations configured by the user. When this feature is used, the password remains on the user’s machine and is protected locally with appropriate security mechanisms.
These passwords are not sent to Sertta, are not available to our team, and are not shared with third parties by Sertta.
When an automation is synchronized or transferred to another environment, locally configured passwords do not travel with it. The user must enter the password again on the destination machine if they want to use the same type of automated action in that environment.
User-created automations
EmuloAgent allows users to create automations that execute repetitive actions based on conditions such as text, image, and color.
Automations may contain user-defined settings such as names, steps, conditions, actions, intervals, visual captures, or references used to identify on-screen elements.
When synchronization features are available, Sertta may store the data required to allow users to access or replicate their automations in other environments. This storage does not include local passwords used for virtual keyboard input.
The user is responsible for the content, purpose, and use of the automations they create.
How we use data
We use collected data to:
- create and maintain user accounts;
- enable product access;
- manage subscriptions, payments, renewals, and cancellations;
- respond to support requests;
- improve stability, security, and user experience;
- prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or misuse;
- comply with legal, tax, regulatory, or contractual obligations.
We do not use personal data to sell lists, expose individual information, or enable third-party behavioral advertising.
Data sharing
We may share information only when necessary to operate the service, such as:
- with payment platforms responsible for processing charges;
- with essential services for hosting, security, communication, support, or technical operation;
- when required by law, court order, competent authority, or regulatory obligation;
- to protect rights, security, service integrity, users, or third parties.
Whenever possible, we limit sharing to the minimum necessary for the relevant purpose.
Security
We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or improper disclosure.
No system is completely risk-free. Users must also protect their devices, accounts, passwords, execution environments, and local access.
For passwords used in virtual keyboard automations, local protection also depends on the security of the user’s machine. Sertta does not have access to these passwords and cannot recover them.
Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain financial and administrative records, prevent abuse, or exercise rights.
When an account is closed, some data may remain stored for the period required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or contractual records.
User rights
Depending on applicable law, users may request:
- access to personal data associated with the account;
- correction of incorrect or outdated data;
- deletion of data, when applicable;
- limitation of or objection to certain processing activities;
- information about data use and sharing.
Requests can be made through Sertta’s official contact channels. We may request additional information to confirm the requester’s identity.
Children and teenagers
The website and EmuloAgent are not directed to children. Use by minors should occur only with authorization and supervision from legal guardians, when allowed by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the product, service, legal requirements, or operational practices. When material changes occur, we may notify users through appropriate means, such as a notice on the website, in the product, or by email.
